A classic P-51 Mustang, Ridge Runner III, taxies out for a flight demonstration during the Aviation Nation Airshow.  The aircraft carries the marking of Pierce McKennon, who flew with the 4th Fighter Group and scored 12 aerial and 9 ground victories. More than 8100 of the D-model were produced, contributing to the total of 15,000 Mustangs built for the war. After World War II, the P-51 Mustang served in the air forces of over 55 countries.
